The Journalism Education Association named California student Ina Herlihy as the high school journalist of the year at the National High School Journalism Convention in Portland, Ore. This fall, the convention will be held in Kansas City, Mo., featuring keynote speeches from some of the nation’s top newsmakers and workshops of interest to young journalists.
