NABJ announces Salute to Excellence winners
The National Association of Black Journalists named the winners of its annual Salute to Excellence National Media Awards awards during its annual convention in late July. Submissions had to cover people or issues of the African/African American diaspora. Entries were judged on content, creativity, innovation, use of the medium and relevance to the black community in 58 categories.
