Discuss the state of health care with AHCJ

Journalists in Missouri will have the chance to access government officials and health experts about stories that impact Missouri residents and media audiences at the Missouri State of Health Conference in February.

The conference, held by the Association of Health Care Journalists, will cover topics including the health of Missouri residents and how recent health care reforms will affect the state. Scheduled speakers include Daniel Landon, senior vice president of governmental relations of the Missouri Hospital Association, and Judy Baker, district director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 7 in Jefferson City, Mo. There is no fee to attend, but registration is required. Learn more and register at www.healthjournalism.org.
