Society of Environmental Journalists accepting Fund for Environmental Journalism applications
The Society of Environmental Journalists‘ Fund for Environmental Journalism is accepting applications for grants of up to $3,500 to help underwrite environmental reporting projects and entrepreneurial ventures. The deadline for these applications is July 15, 2011.
The fund provides incentives and support to qualified journalists and news organizations to enhance the quantity and quality of environmental journalism. The grant funds can be used for expenses of a project like travel, training, research materials and environmental testing. The application is free for SEJ members and $20 for non-members.
