Time to register for The National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association National Convention

Registration is open for The 2011 National Convention & LGBT Media Summit to be held by National Lesbian & Gay journalists Association on Aug. 25-28 in Philadelphia, Pa.

The conference will begin on Thursday, Aug. 25 with the 8th Annual LGBT Media Summit followed by various workshops and networking events. In The City of Brotherly Love journalists will have the chance to meet and learn from their peers from both LGBT and mainstream media.  The convention will teach attendees journalistic skills like tools journalists can use for achieving social media success and how to accurately report on transgender issues.
